Personal Medicine Stories

A Personal Medicine Story is a unique gift for a friend or loved one (or even just for someone who has everything). It is a fairy tale or parable written specifically for and about just one person.

The term Medicine is used here as meaning 'something that carries a gift', and the stories are intended to carry the gift of the person they are written for and about.

People usually want a story for a particularly special gift - something that is unique, cannot be duplicated, and is exclusive to the person it has been written for. A story that is actually about that person and only that person. (It is possible and popular to have a story written for oneself, for yourself alone, or as a couple, or for a family member(s) or a friend).

What Are The Stories Like

As the stories are written intuitively, by hand, about the person for whom they have been requested, it is their specific reflection so I never know what they will be like before I begin.

They have varied from 700 to 2500 words in length; with styles ranging from a direct shamanistic type tellings, to symbolic parables, to vibrant character filled dialogues. The settings vary from ancient to contemporary, with characters that could be human, animal, fantasy, or even inanimate everyday objects.

These stories have been given for all sorts of occassions: Birthday and Christmas Presents; Wedding Gifts; or simply as a healing gift that the client felt would benefit someone they cared about at that time.

Comments from previous clients are on the Client's Letters page.

Children's Stories

It is now possible to request stories written for children. This would be a story that is written for the child and includeds the subjects and interests they enjoy - not just their name. Please write for more details.
