Hello,

My name is Chante and I live in the United Kingdom where I work in Education.

Medicine Stories

These stories began when I was unexpectedly asked to give a informal talk on spirituality in 1994. I had a couple of hours to plan, but found a persistent story image in my head, based around what I wanted to say, so decided to tell that instead. That first story was called The Bottomless Pool and can be seen in the section holding My Own Stories.

This first story became another and another, and in 1997 I started writing stories for other people. Each one is uniquely and individually written for solely one person. A work I find endlessly fascinating.

My Background

My writings have appeared in the UK magazines New Vision, Lightnet News and Namaste, and the Korean magazine Here and Now. My life, and work, has always been highly varied and nomadic. I have cared for dolphins in Northern Spain; taught all manner of things from English, to IT, to Waterskiing; guided drunken tourists in Europe and questing ones in the Sinai. I have lived both in Europe and the US, and travelled to many places including India and the Middle East.

I have an adopted son called Elijah, who is seen in the above photo, which was taken in 2001.
